    Have a little patience.

You'll soon be able to preach to us that the new head coach isn't up to the job.

A 164 year old Chinese peasant would be pretty leftfield even for our board.

There's no hint of desire to succeed within anyone that's running the club. I'd be over the moon if I was a Rotherham fan. We've got no manager, a squad that lacks any core whatsoever and yet some people seem to think that's ok.

We've got fans holding out hope that the only reason Stendel hasn't been announced yet is because their season isn't finished, he's currently a reserve team manager. If we had any intention of appointing him, it would have been announced alongside a date which he would be taking over.

Longer it goes on without any communication or apparent movement, the worse of a position we will find ourselves in, but at least the board will say they tried.

Rotherham have signed Clarke-Harris, Rafferty (ex Pompey) and McWilliams (Northampton). Word is that Byers from the Fowls is next.

In terms of numbers they don't have a big squad.

Sold Johansson to Stoke and transfer listed McCart and Kayode and released a further 11 players and 5 loan players gone back to their parent clubs.

Yes, because the same people responsible for organising and publicising the carveries and luncheons are the same people who hire and fire the manager and organise player signings.

Likewise, JAQs involvement with the women's team will have no impact on her ability to look at appointing there men's team manager (assuming she is actually involved - it might be down to the Sporting Director).

I suppose this gives you something to moan about until they appoint a manager. At which point there'll be that to moan about. And then the signings being wrong/too late/spreadsheet inspired. Before the preseason friendlies being a disaster etc, etc, etc

Twitter is in meltdown over Rotherham signing some players. The same people who feel the need to tag JAQ on a regular basis.

I must be a cold fish. As soon as the seasons done, I’m just happy for them to get on with stuff.

It seems every pre season we’re comparing with what others are doing, or ‘at a crossroads. It’s just standard for us and others.

So no, you’re not risking upsetting me. Given how exhausting I would find it constantly questioning everything, I think you’re more likely upsetting yourself mate. :)

The level of entitlement in some quarters is both astounding and rather worrying.

Our next game is in August.

The transfer window doesn’t open until mid June.

    Stop being so impatient.
