    Posted very similar to you on a recent thread but although your right in your statement that the Coach is the most vital signing we can't ignore that this lot appointed Mr Warhammer even before sacking Collins...so are they listening to their paying public ???

    I'd like to be a fly on the wall when the board get together and have their chats about the team/coach/recruitment/sales. Would be quite an eye-opener I think.

    Plenty of time atm. I'm hoping the 'delay' is simply because their No1 target has other commitments that have to be sorted first.

    Why would he: His only experience is Barnsley Football Club. And they are not a Beacon of good practice :rolleyes:

    I understand the argument that it’s important to take your time making the right decision. However, we’re now on our 12th manager in 10 seasons.

    We could still appoint a new manager within the next week. Stendel signing a new deal at Hannover doesn't change that.

    Yorkshire post article of 1st of May saying he wouldn't be joining due to work permit issues. Appologies as I can't find the source but one article which was copied onto BBS said he'd actually flown into UK to meet us before Collins went.
    I am assuming you refer to there being no official statement from BFC about him...

    My two bob.. is we don't have a pot to **** in.. The money that comes in through the sale of Mads and Kitchen isn't enough to run the club.. we are looking at lower ST sales and have no big saleable assets left.. That's why our better players were always off. And our decent loans never gave any impression that they would be here any longer than May..
    And why we are struggling to get a head coach in and are not signing players where other clubs are.
    We have 34 players still here that are currently either first team or should be on the verge have played in the paint pot cup.
    I'd say any new coach as been told he will have to be able to work with what we have.. plus the usual 5 loans come August and make team out of them..

    10 clubs currently without a manager. A few more still considering pulling the trigger by all accounts.

    So not just us.
