I don't see what merits police involvement there. Accusing someone of murdering a football club isn't a crime
Sorry but I must be missing something here? The guy appears to be saying JC Snr saved the club and JC Jnr has killed the club either by selling out to the consortium or/and in his involvement since. Whilst this is clearly wrong, misinformed and even embarrassing I don’t see the justification of having him banned from Oakwell or on here for having a wrong opinion?
No. I am just stating what has been become apparent from looking at the fortunes of these clubs in recent times since some members of PMG have been involved.
Does Lee & Conway still not have shares ? Whilst they may be minority they are still involved, for me whilst they are still there they are still involved. That said be glad when lot of em are gone.
Trouble is how do we get rid of them? Conways antics in refusing an offer and rather a club goes to the wall suggests it’s not as simple as someone buying him out as he would probably want silly money. At least by gradually marginalising them their input is virtually nothing.
Chein and Conway still have shares, Think I read that Conway's holding is down to 4%. Chein's is more but not enough to dictate any policy at the club. I think I read that Thalhammer had also worked in PMG so the numpty brigade are making 2 and 2 = 5...Sadly Social media allows nob heads like this one the air of publicly and unfortunately here we are effectively feeding it. These things should never make the public domain but this is how society is now..
Now that the board are aligned with Crynes, Julie Anne and Neerav they can run funding calls. Which I believe they've done at least twice. Conway and Lee have the option to fund the club during these calls for funding or risk share diluting which has happened. If they called upon a £10m injection, With Neerav now owning around 50 odd % he'd pay £5m into the club and keep he's shares and Conway and Lees roughly 13% they'd have to cough up £1.3m or risk losing a further chunk of the club.
Where’s the downward spiral for BFC compared with the last 20 yrs , playoffs galore including a Championship one something we’ve only done once before in our history . Accusing people who’ve just put £6m into the club of taking money out is just bizarre
It still completely puzzles me how people use "The Spreadsheet" as a stick to beat the club with. Do they think that we're the only club that uses analytics? Look at Brighton - they pull out these Europeans and South Americans from all over, then basically sell them to Chelsea for 80 million after 18 months. That's spreadsheets and analytics. They aren't sending some old codger with a clipboard to watch a load of games. Every club uses analytics.
Tbh I read the post a dozen times and still didn’t really get his point. Badly written and he just comes across as a bit dim to me.
More to the point is, he has a lot of the same ilk following his every word as given truth. When anyone who follows the goings on, re financial issues. Shareholdings etc. Try to explain how wrong he is. He digs a bigger hole for himself. By bringing up outdated news.
I think the issue is we aren't getting results from using it. We don't receive enough money in transfer fees to then go back an reinvest that money properly into the playing squad.
Yep, that was my point. I can’t see us buying them out so manage them gradually out is probably best option.
I wonder how much money old Cam and his family have put into Barnsley FC quite happy to state its nowhere near as much as the Crynes probably his dad bought a season ticket in the prem season and he got a half one in 2016.
