You’re maybe right but I think he’s been out on loan enough and now needs a couple of starts to show he can make prove himself.
He’s had an injury free season so let’s hope he can make the step up.

IIRC Marsh didn’t hold a starting place at York when he was on loan. Although he’s a local lad, I just don’t think he’ll cut it for us. Shame I know, but that’s the nature of the beast.

Like said the step up is massive. Make or break for him this season imo. Don't write him off though on a loan spell Jacob brown went to Chesterfield on loan don't think he scored a goal came back to oakwell and was great under stendel.

He’s young, enthusiastic but lacks pace and any great ability. I hope he proves me wrong but I don’t see any future for him at our current level.

Wouldn’t mind Clarke having a say on players he’s worked with if they’re good enough and work within the system.
Rob Street and Will Ferry would replace one of the strikers and Nicky Cadden. Will Forrester would also be a very good replacement for an outgoing centre half.

Maybe Watters back to Crawley now they've been promoted where he spent his most successful time.
But I'm sure nothing will happen early anyway as Clarke will want to look at everyone..
You never know his man management skills are supposed to be excellent so he may get a tune out of one or two who have been written off on here..

Marsh.. ok not a lot of pace, not tall, all left foot.. But
He does seem to have that knack of being in the right place and the right time and can finish.. which is basically all you need to be a striker.. it's all about the finish
Play him along and close to a Cosgrove and maybe you may have a decent partnership..

Kell Watts has been released by Newcastle, might be worth a punt. Was on loan at Wigan last season

Can I just say Watters will come good (as will Cosgrove) if we play the right way. We don't play simple football that strikers feed on. Hourihane would make Cosgrove and Watters a dream partnership. To a lesser extent Grant or Connell instructed to find Cosgrove.

Had a couple of pints but I stand by my point mate. I think sometimes Cole's, Norwood's, Winnall and co's goals are in spite of our general play. We don't create that much.

I think Watters will be a great player. I'll argue my point all day.

Don't be afraid to have an opinion that differs from the consensus. Particularly on here.

I agree with the 'general play' comment. I've made that point myself and I think its why Collins got out of jail for so long.
I do think you must be the love child of Nostradamus and Mystic Meg though if you think Watters will come good....Opinions eh? I thought John Stones would come good when he was here but people laughed at me!
