    We have some high class batsmen in the top 4, however Lyth is the only one really that scores seriously quickly when the conditions demand that. Masood is a good 4 day player but not a T20 captain/player for me. I suspect finances dictate that we couldn't bring anyone else in and have to use him for all formats when he's available. We seriously lack power with the bat and our attack is bereft of pace and experience. Can see another 6th-7th place finish to be honest unless we get some more pitches to suit our plethora of slow bowlers.

    Northants commentators getting on my nerves already. Their bowler balls a wide-ish half volley which goes for four “ unlucky there, didn’t do much wrong.” What, apart from bowling a rank half volley? No great ball really.
    Same over, bowls a waste high full toss, commentator sounding shocked “oh he’s signalled a no ball”. Yeah, he’s just bowled a filthy full toss.
