The British day of respect in London, June 1st

You wouldn’t go to a lot of ‘all white’ areas and think ‘this is the life’ tbf. There was a post about Grimey a few weeks back that turned into a ‘ruff theer’ fest.

A lot on here think they are.

 

No they don't. People on here can draw a distinction between those peacefully protesting against Israel's actions and the knobheads who take it too far.

 

Trouble is, with posts like this nobody has their view changed. Racists are still racists and 'do gooders' are still do gooders' (whatever that means). All I will say is that if you think its ok to hate other human beings simply because they are human beings then you're not my mate. Bum... I must be a do-gooder!!!

 

Nobody said they can't tell the difference all i said a lot on here. Just think about it there is right and wrong in everything.

I just believe anybody that come to live in our country should respect our laws and our history and tradition and do not try and change it to their ways and standards. I also believe we have a right to defend our traditions etc. This is not racist. If you noticed in the pictures i have seen of the march or whatever you want to call it. in the British part there was black, white and asian all mixed.

 

Do you think Brits do when they go and live abroad? Thinking of Brits living in Spain say for instance - British culture ia all around in places like Benidorm

 

Most people do obey the laws whether they're Muslim, Christian, Jewish, black, white or brown. Hatred stirs things up so that people feel that certain groups dont follow the law. Bottom line as you say is that people are following the law (and I would argue being courteous and respectful to others). Treat every person as a human being and not scum is all Im saying. As to tradition, it changes over time. It was tradition to send convicts abroad, to wear skirts if you were a bloke, to wear headdresses if you were a woman (nuns still do). Toleration and respect is better than hatred and intolerance in my opinion.

 

I don't go abroad. But if thats the case it is upto Spain to defend their traditions, but the last i heard you had to be able to speak spanish to stay there

 

You don't have to speak Spanish to live in Spain but point was as a nation we do exactly the same thing we blame others for - what is it they call Benidorm - Blackpool with the sun.

 

All agree but the people coming have also got to behave themselves and there is a lot that don't

 

Jeez, if ever there was a place that was better viewed in a very low light it's Blackpool!

 

Oh and they wouldn't have to defend their traditions if those living their respected their way of life - same scenario

 

But i suppose if brits in Spain break the law they get arrested, and have to accept punishment but a lot of immigrants that come to Britain, who do wrong and i don't mean everyone that come here does wrong, but those that do, then cry the racist card, and you can't say they don't

 

Hmm, maybe the "lot" that you quote without any evidence whatsoever should behave as well as the football hooligans, general beer swilling yobs etc that we excel in producing?

 

You've not really addressed my point - they don't really value the way of life. Just move Britain to the Sun.

There are far more people who were born here that “don’t behave themselves” this trope you and other like you recite is just just lazy, reactionary and designed to stir hatred of others.
