https://www.facebook.com/share/mo41xVX8oh5Wxyrv/ They have serious financial problems. The people in the comments cannot have read the article, because as it says it's not for Vardy to bail them out because he owes them nothing. A few good local friendlies should help them out. I remember watching Toni Silva looking world class against them for us.
I seem to remember they also had Scott Hogan on their books who we took a look at and deemed not up to scratch at the time, but who then later signed for Rochdale.
I have some fond memories of SPS. I used to play for them back in the day. Jimmy Mullen from SWFC used to take one of the training sessions every week. Real old school and very tough. My dad was also on their committee. Also earlier when i was an Apprentice at Stocksbridge we had some PT sessions at Bracken Moor weekly. Great little ground apart from parking. The community does a good job supporting them but i fear in difficult times it wont be enough. ST are 125 quid so hope they sell a few extra and they find some funds to keep themselves sustainable.
Why don't they get their MP the far-right Tory Mirian Cates to get some of that leveling-up money into the football club before it goes into some millionaire's pocket,
Aye' she could organise a game against a Nigel farrage 11 with Tommy robinson as his midfield enforcer and Suella braverman twirling the pom poms.
Two old pence a week taken out of wage when i started september 69 at Belmont.Had some good games at Bracken Moor in inter departmental matches.Didnt Jido work in No 2 Melting Shop.
