    Except that isn't true is it. They aren't the same at all. One has absolutely decimated the economy and ****** over the working person whilst destroying funding for the area you and me live in. The other has done nothing of the sought.

    If you are to say they are the same then at worst you should be saying one is a rattlesnake and the other a grass snake. Might look similar but I know which I'd take my chances with

    I'm guessing the Tories had the final say over which Tory supporting plant in the ITV newsroom moderated tonight's farce. Richy boy allowed to talk over Starmer and never challenged by the host always given the last say by the host and Starmer not allowed to answer Richy boys attacks. Completely biased in favour of Richy boy and the tories.

    45 seconds is a stupid format, not long enough time to properly answer.

    A dull draw for me, which Starmer will take all day long.

    That was a grim watch, mainly due to a poor format and an awful moderator. Hopefully the BBC do a better job in a few weeks time.

    Hmmmm Sunak came across as rude and petulant. Starmer is a poor communicator and doesn’t really seem capable of thinking on his feet. A bore draw.

    How people can argue they are the same baffles me. Is it ignorance or apathy that people can come out with this? Where have they been for the last 14 years- our country is on its knees!

    His claim is based on fictitious Tory-invented figures. Starmer should have been a lot firmer in an immediate denial of the claim.
