    Abysmal. Hasn't got a clue. Thing is anybody that can make a difference hasn't been selected. If Bellingham flops we're f cuk ed. Yes we've Saka, Foden, Palmer and Eze but they're glorified wingers. Unbalanced squad.

    Ok then, if we/Gareth can really learn anything from this, with a number of players clearly not giving a hundred percent etc.
    For me there is no rivalry with Iceland, and I have to say they impressed me with their attitude, in a so called pointless friendly.

    Foden - premier league player of the season
    Palmer - young player of the season
    Bellingham - Champions League winner
    Saka - most creative player for a team that scored 91 goals
    Eze - unbelievable form the last few months

    Go on, tell me who Maddison should have been selected over despite being absolute dogger since he came back from injury

    You could tell tonight nobody wanted to pick up an injury, yes we have lost but in a point less friendly. Iceland are not in the euros and was up for it tonight and we wasn’t, why would we be. If we won 8-0 but Kane and Foden went off with serious injuries would we be happy.

    I think we were also a bit lucky in the Bosnia match, the other night.
    But these are pre tournament friendlies aren't they, let's not forget that. And I'm saying that even though I am very disappointed with them tonight.
    I'm convinced though that we'll see a much better attitude and performance, when it matters next week, when our Euros tournament begins!.

    The usual tepid, shackled and underwhelming performance from England under Southgate.

    I’ll give him his due - his overall record stands up to anyone, and he’s selected a squad based on form in the main, leaving out some big names.

    But I still think the manager is England’s weakest link. All the attacking talent in the squad and we created one decent chance and had one shot on target.

    It was really poor.

    But we shouldn’t throw the baby out with the bath water. I don’t want him as England manager and haven’t for a while but getting rid now would be ridiculous.

    I do think it will be his last tournament though.

    Probably because they're English based so will take most bets on England and have to reduce the odds to cover their exposure.
