There are usually 14 games mate. So less than a third. We play each side in the group twice barring 2, only once each. ( as to why..i think Fixture congestion) Not looked at this seasons fixtures on the whole. But after only 4/5 games not one side has won every game and only Notts lost every one.
Didn't we Yorkies win the Benson & Hedges Cup in about '87, ish ?. Against Northampton, and they had England's Allan Lamb in their team, in the Final ?.
You are correct. I have just looked it up. Yorkshire won by having lost fewer wickets, both teams having scored 244. I seem to remember watching it onTV.
I remember that Boycott played in several ODI’s….. nowadays they’re 50 over games but winning totals are far above what they used to be.
I still wish they would cut down the fixtures and merge the One day set up, with the T20 set up. Make it a T30 or 35 overs competition instead, maybe!.
Err maybe lol, yeah in fairness I'm not a big fan of the T20 set up. Btw was T20 originally just an experiment, which was meant to be for just a few years. To try and get newer/younger fans interested ?.
Joe Rot played for the second 11 today, probs wanted a knock and it was at Sheffield collegiate too. george hill got 5 fer and a decent 40 odd not out
It was that, yes. Extra revenue for counties, but it went that well that it became international comp. Then IPL and Worldwide. Not at the forefront anymore.

Ok maybe it was a predictable defeat for us tonight, against a good Warwickshire team. But I hate the pretentious sh*it, of them calling themselves Birmingham (because it goes with the word Bears).
