Sir Alan Bates

The problem is for every Alan Bates there's a Mark Tucker who, knighted for services to the economy despite being the head of HSBC bank who have under him broken so many laws and been fined millions and millions for their behaviour.

 

Sadly for every Alan Bates there are many, many, many Mark Tuckers.

System needs binning.

 

No it doesn't, it honours some fantastic often very ordinary people who deserve recognition...what it does need is the Mark Tucker's and Paula Vennells of this world keeping out of it.

 

When Sunak's turfed out, he'll compile a honours list. There will be many Tucker type nominations, very few, if any, Bates' types.

System is corrupt as f**k.

 

The vast bulk go to people we've never heard of.
