    That tackle for the free kick had no contact, but it got me thinking. If there’s a tackle that’s pretty reckless but doesn’t make contact because the opposition player gets out of the way and falls as a result, is that a dive or a foul?

    Didn't Luke Steele get sent off at Newcastle for exactly that? Their striker jumped over him and fell over, Steele was sent off because the ref said that it was his attempted challenge that caused the player toctake avoiding action and fall
