You might not be far off the mark, apart from our involvement. Huddersfield could sell him and sign Roberts.

 

Helik was a great player.... if he had the ball hoofed up towards him. He was also really good at attacking corners and obviously got a fair few goals. When the ball was on the floor though, i thought he was highly suspect and the last few months of his final season, he tanked which i think is unforgiveable.

Relegated with us. Not many suitors came in for him and he ended up at Huddersfield, getting relegated again. I'm not sure he's as good a defender as some think.

 

Still better than what we have already though.

 

I've not seen enough to form opinion to be honest. But it's rare for good centre halves to be relegated to league 1 multiple times.

 

So now we’re seriously being so choosy as to (academically at least) turn down the option of Helik returning?

I'll bet there were a few teams who would av signed Conner as a player coach,hoe many dead ball situations is he worth,got a feeling are monster striker is gonna get a few goals just from set plays,hope so anyway, conner will do things for himself but he knows how much he's thought of ere and its gotta make a difference.
