My reply was in jest to your 'no spoilers please'. :)
As for Millwall not taking it too well. I didn't either. Billy big ******** Millwall fans about six of em. entered the Barnsley allocated area (boozers Bottom of Wembley way on the top road). before the game Singing "we are millwall dont care." Draped in Millwall flags. We couldn't get in the pubs. Packed to the rafters. So was enjoying the sunshine top of the walkway with a few cans. Nobody took any notice. But on their way back 10 minutes later with a police escort. still singing "we dont care" . I got trapped at the wrong side of barrier. (Another story for another day,) which was the police. and my mates, Bansley fans, not known for trouble or they'd have seen to em when they rocked up if needed. Who then decided to douse em in ale. Being at the Millwall side of the Barrier on the steps I stunk like a brewery in the game lol. I also walked through them and the police saying "excuse me please." To get to the other side lol. They were obviously otherwise engaged trying to avoid the ale. Twohats :).

Best excuse I’ve ever heard for smelling of ale.

By the time we got into the play-offs we were the best side in the division bar none.

We missed a great chance to build something special there because we couldn’t hold on to the diamonds in that team, for various reasons. Had we done so it could have been 1997 all over again or, more likely, establish ourselves at championship level for some years to come with maybe a tilt at the premier league eventually.
