So much about it all isn't adding up.

Not least that his friend Lucy who claims to be the last person to speak to him and claimed to have left the rave at 8pm was allegedly photographed with him much later than that (certainly looks like her in the screenshot I've seen wearing the same clothes and jewellery) and that there was an Instagram page made which claimed to have inside knowledge on the case and posted "been told I can't give information ormspeak to anyone but they know where he is but if I reveal where jay is I'll be killed". The phone number that account is registered to? Lucy's (her number is online on a post trying selling things)


Then there's the rather strange interview with his mother and his father horrible past and the enemies he will clearly have

Think he's got involved with some naughty people by looks. Tenerife is a dodgy place in parts. I watched a documentary years ago about a lad from the North West who went out there working and went missing. Hope the lad is found.

The main conspiracies doing the rounds in them groups involves drugs he lost and belief that the 30k go fund me is to pay off a ransom

 

I do find starting a Just Giving page to be very odd. He doesn't need flying home. He isn't in the need of medical attention. He fddoesn'bave a funeral need paying for that his family can't afford to cover. He's gone missing.

 

Hard to know what is true and what isn't, so many people with so many theories flying about.

His mum recieved a snapshot on tuesday saying kiss goodbye to your son you'll nivver see him again, from what i've read an heard sarnds like it could be drug related, owes someone in Tenerife a lot of money. I hope they find him an sort him out, an his Mum is reunited with her boy.

As ever, there's a load of speculation and downright false theories on social media.

 

I wondered at the lack of custodial sentence given they were laughing and joking in the dock, but then found out the victim was apparently a similar character and had also wounded and maimed.

 

Karen Matthews was trending on social media because of the amount of people who think his mum has the same kinda vibe.

I don't see her hiding her son.

 

I’ve not followed it too closely but some of the comments I’ve seen from the Facebook groups are corkers. Some I can’t decipher if they’re piss takes or actually genuine.

 

Like the McCanns who started fundraising immediately, never searched themselves, said they would stay in Portugal until she was found but the minute they got named aguidos couldn't get back to England fast enough!

what I do know is it’s perfectly feasible he got intoxicated and ended up with some randoms and then wanted to go home early morning , made a bad decision and got lost then something bad happened.

what I also know is that many comments on twitter / Facebook etc are thoroughly distasteful and to be blunt, sadden me to the pit of my stomach. They make me ashamed to share their nationality / genetics. Awful awful.

it’s the same as numerous comments that were made about the McCanns. The very lowest of the human race ; giving conspiracy theories any kind of credibility unfortunately perpetuates that kind of behaviour
