Slag off who you want. I dont remember you not being able to. You may not like what comes back at you but you are allowed to. The point you put forward in your original post pointed only to labour. That applies to all parties. Circumstances change then things may not be put in place as soon as liked. I genuinely see pledges as to mean best intentions. With most manifestos. Any right wing party voted for by the working class is naive imo at best. If anyone thinks Nige is their mate. Look at his history. Then take a look at Starmers. I know which I'd trust more. And it ain't the former.
It's not about following a clique or anything. It's about posting rhubarb that has been disproven by other posters, then ignoring this evidence and disappearing. This then causes frustration in those that respond, so when said poster pops back up again with more misinformation, he rightly gets castigated.
But all he said was labour may say they won't increase taxes but what they say and do is 2 different things and it got called a idiotic comment. Whoever gets in has a backlog of appointments from covid, the covid blackhole to get back, the doctors 8am ques to sort. And much more which all costs money. I can see it now it's in a worse state than we thought etc etc. Sorry if that's classed as wrong or whatever it's just a opinion.
Because it is completely idiotic to ignore what the parties promised to do and instead base your vote on the fact that they may be completely lying because a liar told you they're lying. It's like choosing Gary Glitter to be your kids babysitter because he told you that Dave down the road, who also applied for the job, might be a paedophile in the future despite never having been one before. Or turning Scarlett Johansson down for a date because a woman who is currently going through her 3rd divorce because she's cheated on all 3 husbands tells you that she thinks Scarlett would cheat on you so instead you go out with the serial adulteress
No thread would be complete without a bonkers @SuperTyke analogy but 2 in one post? You're spoiling us.
And I didn't even include the one about sticking Max Watters up front for next season because he told Darrell Clarke not to sign Mbappe in case he's ****
I tend to stay out of politics threads on here, mainly because I know even less about politics than I do football, and I've been told several times on here in the past that I know nothing about football. That being said, this is the sort of opinion I've never quite understood, and it's often levelled at Labour politicians. I understand that politicians often exaggerate, and even blatantly lie to get votes (the entire brexit vote was built on them), but putting down one political party, and it's voters, not because you don't agree with their policies, but that you feel they're too good to be true is baffling, particularly given the current state of the economy. If labour deliver 10% of what they're promising (though their track record suggests they'll deliver much more than that) they'll improve the economy. I can't warm to Kier Starmer, he's shifted the party more to the right, probably in an attempt to pinch voters from the Tories. We'll see in the next 12 months whether that was the case. Maybe one day, he'll be replaced with someone who's more of a 'man of the people' (unlikely). But Starmer's crimes pale into insignificance against those of the Tory Party, and even more so compared to Farrage, who for me should be doing time for treason. So yeah, maybe Starmer is pulling on our todger, but given the alternative appears to be much worse, it's a risk I'm more than happy to take right now. That concludes my political contribution for another year.
Well you did slag them off for something they haven't yet done. Which I have to agree is rather stupid or you have powes of precognition.
Sorry I think I didn't explain properly. He just rocks up, posts something that's been proven to be factually incorrect, is then corrected on this, then dissappears, then reappears to post the same drivel that was proven wrong the last time round. That's why people lose patience and call him idiotic. Edit: And the issues you've mentioned there regarding GP Surgeries are all the responsibility of the current Conservative government. Not what Labour "might" do.
doesn’t it seem strange to you that certain poster spouts one line of shǐte and then won’t answer anyone? You are here doing his bidding for him..not a bit weird? As it is I called him a bit of a **** last week. I wish to retract that, I used “bit of” in error.
I know a few doctors and my mate has just married one. Literally not a one of them will ever vote Tory.
Like I say Labour will win by a landslide then the workshy, the working class, the nhs staff, the rich all voting Labour.
Keep reading these " What Labour may do" posts being sold as factually will happen and hope people will see them as the Tory lies and misdirection that they actually are. Just disappointing that we give air time to this tripe and yes...I'm doing it as well
I don’t understand why you keep saying this as if it’s some sort of gotcha and not exactly what’s predicted to happen by everyone.
Well, seeing as this government has been in power for 14 years and the country has essentially circled the drain, they kind of are to blame.
