Referee or rather VAR were absolutely right under the current rules it's a retake but it's just wrong isn't it that a striker can stop start, do the ******* hokey cokey and then kick the ball but the keeper is expected to stay still. Penalties need completely revamping for me
What's wrong with Football there. Penalty taker stutters twice in his run up and has his rubbish penalty saved. But because he messes up with multiple stutters the keeper is slightly off his line and gets a second chance he didn't deserve.
Crickey why is Keown on co comms it's not a pen next breath he kicked his foot defo pen then keepers not moved next breath oh he his off his line.
France will wonder how they aren't winning. The only Poland shot on target since about the 10th minute has been the retaken penalty.
Correct. Farcical that he can stutter that many times & then the keeper gets punished for a tiny encroachment
What was Bobby Lewandowski doing with that pen ?. A stop, a skip, a sidestep, another stop n skip, and whoops he's missed it lol. But keepers have got to be made to stay back more often, and the French keeper still jumped forward with the re-take!.
A solution for me would be that keepers have to be touching the back of the net when the striker STARTS his movement towards the ball or even a second line in the back of the net he has to be behind. But once the striker starts his first movement the keeper is free to come forward as far as he wants. if the striker stutters and thinks hesxdoing the triple jump then tough
