I personally quite like the colour but can see why you don't. But it's an excellent colour for highlighting white logos. It's used a lot, it's classic, because it works. It's almost like someone knows what they're doing, and it's immediately obvious from the new design, which is so much better than it's ever been, that they do.
I like it apart from how close to both edges of the phone the writing is. It makes me feel like I’m zoomed in and I keep trying to zoom out. It’s literally right to the very edge.
Here we go again! People moaning for the sake of it! I swear some people on this forum could win millions on the lottery and they'd still be negative, miserable moaning ***** because they know no other way
I'll probably get accused of licking your bum crack or whatever mate, but I think it looks miles better than it did. Much more modern. I often found the old one a bit clunky and unclear. I agree with @JamDrop re the spacing on the articles though. The corners of the screen on my phone are curved, so I've lost the first letter of each line, otherwise, no issues.
It’s hard to speak to a lot of supporters about stuff like this. Because most only ever see our website. Genuinely, if you’ve a spare 20 minutes, go and have a look at 10 to 15 clubs. No matter the level. Honestly. Have a look at other clubs, their sites, then compare. I’m quite relaxed to now say - at last - ours is as good as most. Not only on looks, but content. Wrexham launched theirs today. Good comparison. Using same company. Think we’ve used our four main colours (as per our brand guidelines) really well. The white, red, darker red and black. The site we’ve had the last 7 years was just one red. Not even our actual red. And again, this is just the launch. Once ifollow is tagged on, then the app, and more bells and whistles, it’ll be obvious how much of a step forward it is.
@YTBFC have a look at this https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_boxmodel.asp and this https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_text_text-align.php Big improvement though!
This sort of stuff is proper helpful. Because I can relay back to Urban Zoo (the company) and hopefully they can help. It’s day one. Could not be happier with the launch. Because there’s been very few gremlins. And I can’t say it enough - the platform has so much depth. Loads to dig into. Not even had chance to build the academy teams or Women’s team yet. Such a rapid turnaround.
Looks fine to me. I think the colour scheme needs a bit of work. The tiles and background are very similar, which gives the impression of lots of whitespace, which is generally to be avoided. The other thing for me is use of fonts. I'm a geek when it comes to fonts. From an accessibility point of view, I find it difficult to read. It's a bit too heavy for the size, and some of the text is just too small. Decent effort generally though.
YT now we've got a shiny new website (looks good to me) can you go and tell recruitment you need some content of footballer's holding up a nice new red shirt. Thanks in anticipation.
Good work, it looks nice. Looking forward to seeing future updates too. This is another vote for the text being spaced out a bit better towards the edge of the screen. Particularly on the left side.
