I fortunately found out only recently (a month or so ago)the season kicks off on the 10th of Aug. Having thought it would be first Saturday in August. (3rd) Just need to hope my flight isn't delayed on the 3rd arrive back after 3pm at Brum airport, then rush back to the well for the Simpson fight.
I've recently found out that my Mrs knows half of Stockport, and she's planned a day out already when we play them away. So guaranteed, it'll be a Tuesday night in December.
https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2024/june/26/24-25-fixtures-revealed-/ Mansfield at home to start the new season on Friday 9th August! Final league match of the season is a long trip to Reading on Saturday 3rd May. We're away on Boxing day and the 29th Dec but host Wrexham on New Year's Day!
So every game came be on Sky. All Championship games 12:30KO for same reason. Going to be a season of moved fixtures I think. I cannot see the fixture list released this morning remaining remotely accurate through the season.
Aye, Sky released that new channel for the season - every L1 and L2 team gets 20 televised games a year Every CH team gets 24. Not bad.
Starting on a Friday night is rubbish. Both festive games being away is rubbish. Wrexham NYD it will be like when Sunderland played at Blackpool NYD brought 7k and drank the bars dry NYE. Many of their 5k will book hotels. Exeter having to come to us on a Tuesday night is rubbish.
