But Rovrum have already signed half the football league so we should've signed the full football league by now! Nowhere near panic stations for me yet. Patience isn’t a strong point of the modern online football fan it seems.
So many Transfers have been completed already in June between League 1 and 2 Clubs. So hopefully the targets are special and worth waiting for.
Totally agree weve got a lot of talent an capable players in this league we just want them gelling, hope Darrell can pull the strings, hopefully he'll get the players on his radar an in time to give em some team time togetherness, C,O,Y,R,
Talking with a Rotherham fan last night. He was not particularly impressed with the comings and goings so far and not expecting great things this coming season.
I suppose time will tell. I think they’ve signed a couple of good ones in there but a few squad fillers too. I guess with signing that amount, you’re increasing your chance of there being a good one in there! I do think Evans will get them up near the top. Maybe not top 2 but certainly challenging the top 6.
He has an aura. I think he'd do well anywhere. He looks "fathery" if that's a term. Always had time for him even though he's at Rotherham. Being a fat king Kanut doesn't make you a bad manager or person for that matter.
Darrell sounds a good bloke. But there is a part of me feels that that piece could easily have been written by Johnny Steele.
As weird as it sounds, I think he’d struggle a bit with a really good set of technical players. Whereas, I agree with the fathery term and he can take a team that’s maybe not got the best individuals, but get them working together and for each other.
I think that's a stretch, especially as we don't have a recognised number one (Kilip isn't it for me). I don't think we need too many bodies in though. Quality over quantity, play some of the young lads from the bench to gain experience and I think we've got a chance.
