    I just hate it when I have 8 pints and suddenly my views pivot to the complete opposite of what I believe and I start abusing marginalised groups, but what can you do?

    Reform has a half a page advert on page 4 of the Chronicle and mentions on page 3 them closing the gap in Barnsley wards on Labour.

    Next week could be awful. Dan Jarvis could even lose his seat. Stranger things have happened.

    If Reform win the Barnsley seat, I will seriously consider never visiting Oakwell again. I might go to the odd away game but I couldn't bear walking through the town and looking people in the face and thinking that they probably voted for these Fascists. Knowing how many voted for Brexit was bad enough but this would be the end for me.

    So Farage is saying openly that a respected news source has fabricated a story? Surely that’s a serious claim to make? It sounds like defamation. He should be asked for the evidence, preferably in Court.

    Anyone who thinks Reform UK will help anyone, other than themselves is deluded. If you want to take the country back to the 1930's & promote xenophobia, hatred & help the toffs, like Farage, there is your ticket. Put an "x" in the box. Pretty simple. It's just a small step from voting for a very similar Tory Party. Only difference is they have a person of colour as a leader, something Reform UK would never consider. Starmer is a pretty boring type of guy. A hybrid of Callaghan & Ed Miliband for me. Still will be voting Labour in my constituency. Decent MP in Alex Sobel & I want the right wing lunatics gone. They have done nothing in 14 years, other than destroy our economy, fill our rivers with sewage, run down NHS & social care & put up our taxes. I could list another 100 things, but can't be arsed.

    Agree...Reform Councillor David White, Candidate for Barnsley South, doing f..k all in Rockingham. Attended 50% of meetings, we not seeing him in Birdwell but he's still taking his £985 a month. Been campaigning 2 month, that's £1970 he has collected. If that isn't a example of for themselves, I don't know what is.

    It's amusing how some folk always rattle on about 'left wingers' but if you look around the world and the UK, the trend isn't of left wing parties being in, or challenging for power, but the exact opposite. Even the centre has shifted right.

    And we all know how this ends.
