Like him or loathe him, a blind man can see this is nothing more than Democrat-derived nonsense designed only to derail Trumps' campaign. What should worry people is what the next four years will look like if Trump wins, and all these people who've been trying to take him down start scurrying for cover.
Frightening. But shows the danger of populists. Rig the system, appoint cronies, deconstruct safeguards, lie, cover your tracks. And then when you're found out, get away with your crimes.
Ok, so do you think Biden should face criminal charges for collusion with his Son and his illicit business dealings? Burisma? 1 Billion in withheld aid on the proviso that the Attorney General gets the boot? 10% kick backs to the "big guy"? His daughter's own diary (which she's accepted ownership of) detailing how her father liked to take inappropriate showers with her? The countless videos of Biden being an absolute creep with children? Whispering in their ears, caressing them, kissing them even? If your answer is anything other than "yes he should face charges", then I'm sorry, but you don't have a reasonable view. They lied, probably so, about Russian collusion. They lied when they said Hunters laptop wasn't real. They lied about China... The list goes on. Now, believe it or not, I'm not a fan of Trump. In fact, I've said it on several occasions on this very forum. But if you look at a list of what Trump has done, next to Biden or Hillary or Bill then there really is no contest on who're the real criminals in US politics. Seriously, going after the guy for overvaluing a property?? God give me strength! Who here hasn't tried to get more money for something when selling/having it valued/appraised. But I will say again, I am not a Trump supporter, never have been. For anyone who doubts that, check any political thread I've contributed to. I'm neutral, 100%
No, absolutely not. I just don't believe that these charges were brought with a concern for public good. More political point scoring, childish nonsense. Has he killed anyone? Nope. See the Clintons for that one. Has he embezzled millions of dollars? Nope. Again, see the Clintons and their "foundation". Raped anyone? Nope. See Bill, if the 6 off women are to be believed, the same women who Hillary mercilessly attempted to destroy (all for women's rights that one ) I'm under no illusion that at some point in his career as a New York based construction magnate that he's burned people and been underhanded. And I'll say again, I don't support, or like the guy. I just don't think it's fair, or right that he's being hauled over the coals by people who are frankly, far worse.
I love how you've refuted the points I raised about Biden. No, I was wrong, you're just after the truth here. Impartial as the day is long. Ok, I think Trump is a sexist bigot who should have no place in modern politics. Now, could you give me your view on Biden? Genuinely.
You want to prosecute Biden for whispering in a child's ear... Here you go on Burisma https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-68313086 My view on Biden? Don't really like him, he's way past a competent age and should stand down as Democratic candidate.
What about her? As far as I'm aware, that's still on appeal? As an aside, Judge Kaplan, who happens to be a Democrat, was nominated by Bill Clinton of all people. If he's sexually assaulted her, then he should be sent to jail. I don't know what else to say.
Wow, a 6-3 majority, who would have thought it? It’s mental when you have judges voting along party lines.
Be in no doubt, this is the start of Trump holding power for the rest of his life. He can now sit in the White House and order the military to shoot or detain his political opponents. It will be an 'official' act, and he will have immunity from legal action. This will be the last time he subjects himself to the electorate. And Joe's frailty will probably see him home. I long for Americans to see how they are slowly being denuded of their democracy, but sadly, I don't think they will.
Can the Trump supporter please tackle this point made please, he hasn't killed anyone though so it's not really worth concerning ourselves about, is it?
Yeah, you're right. Threatening election officials to "find" votes to overturn the result. Asking the Vice President to do likewise. There's nothing wrong there, it's pure vindictive persecution.
I am not exaggerating. This is a very dangerous route America has embarked down. The long-time politicisation of the judiciary allied to increasing polarisation is the perfect backdrop for dictatorship by a powerful president who fancies being in charge for life. Trump will resemble an all-powerful king with no effective checks and balances upon his executive power.
