Always same when a democratic vote goes against their view. No room for extremism left or right, this day and age. No doubt the same things gonna happen here in a few years. When we accept this from any group, democracy is dead. Don't like something, use the ballot box.
At least they're doing it for a worthy cause i.e against the rise of fascism. When the far right do it it's because they don't like people of different colours or cultures.
Not sure why you think that? I pointed out that it shouldn't be tolerated from anyone regardless of the beliefs and we should do our talking via the ballot box. All I can think of is that you maybe support the extremists approach of violence and you are trying to shut down any alternate viewpoint?
You see that's where your wrong.. it is actually fascist to try prevent a democratic vote. There is no 'right' on your or ether side. A left wing bullet is just the deadly as a right wing bullet. When you think you have 'right' but it's just an your own prejudice.. you in reality are the exact same as people you say you hate..
Violence and causing damage should never be tolerated regardless of if it's people on the left or right doing it. Both should be condemned the same, but when it's the right doing it folks are always quicker to.
We’ve got a history of fighting facists lest we forget . Mosley was seen off at the Civic back in the day and it wasn’t by a show of hands
I won't remotely justify the behaviour but the aggressive and openly threatening nature of Le Pen and co has stirred this up. People react like this when they're scared. And it's not like it's scared of a fictional ideology. National rally are openly threatening immigrants, left wing supporters, the poorest people in France, and all young people. Politicians need to be hard-line sometimes but they also need to offer reassurances and respect to their people.
Le Pen is a stain, her dad was worse. These sort of ideological right wing nutters enjoy this though, you can see our own variants “protecting” war memorials etc.
I noted the BBC mentioned the "far right party in France"... yet I've still to see them refer to the far right party/ies in the UK.
Should the world have waited around kicking their heels until the Germans used the ballot box to vote out the Nazi party?
The real question is why are people feeling the need to vote for these parties on the perceived right across the western the world.
