Anonymous Poll - General Election

I've already voted, we didn't know whether we would be at home or not so I got a postal vote. I tactically voted Labour to get rid our our useless waste of space Tory. I used stopthetories.vote which confirmed my assumption that Labour was the tactical vote. I'm a member of the Green party and would very much like to vote for them so I've signed up to swapmyvote on the off chance that there's a Labour supporter who might tactically vote Green in exchange for my Labour vote (unlikely).

Not against it, but I just don't see the point. I'm sure the OP could have taken a fair guess. We've had plenty of election talk on here. It seems pretty obvious who we're all voting for by this point.

Labour will win in my ward by a mile. So I can vote with my heart, not my head. And, I reckon Green will end up second place here. Loads I know voting Green this time. It's Bradford, absolutely zero Reform nonsense, naturally. Not enough racists.

 

33.9% of pollsters so far aren't voting Labour.

 

I will likely vote green in South Suffolk. as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to show them as a viable political force in this country. For that reason vote share matters. Cons will almost certainly win this seat, and labour will win overall by a landslide. But Greens can make a statement of intent.

The greens have by far the best manifesto with a real focus on equality and future quality of life. Round here they are slowly taking all the councils as once a green gets in, they hold it. Helps that they are approachable, helpful people who are grounded in reality. Plus they come from all backgrounds and cultures of this country. Change doesn't happen overnight. But it can happen.

 

Seems like we live in similar constituencies! I want Labour to take the GE this time, but I think the prospect of a Green/Labour contest in urban seats five or ten years hence might keep them honest.

I sincerely hope none of our constituencies vote in a Reform candidate. I'd be utterly ashamed to share a home town/football team with a significant number of people who hate people from different cultures, or are gullible enough to be taken in by that traitor Farage.

 

So depressingly currently 15 votes for Reform. Their "policies" (if you ignore the immigration stuff), are just a bunch of unfundable dreams ......zero basic rate tax for NHS workers, basic rate to start at £20k, £25k if married......
Is anyone really this gullible? Or is it just the stuff about immigration that appeals?
Odd no one appears ready to stand up and declare they're a Reform voter.

Top tip for identifying Reform voters: you'll have heard them loudly complaining about have being cancelled.

 

To be fair, there's already been a couple of denigrating comments, one being a 'nice' way to end themselves! I'd be surprised if any of them admit to it on here, old mate. Edit - unless they love a good argument and/or a wind up merchant! (so probably plenty will)

I really hope the 17 people who have voted Reform in this poll have done so just to get a rise out of board lefties like me rather than because they're actually going to vote for those racist ****s

Green. To be to Labour what UKIP were to the Tories 10 years ago and shift the nation's political compass.

I would imagine Reform will get naff all in my urban multicultural seat but if they do beat the Labour candidate, that's on the bigots who voted for them, not me.

Mercifully for me in Doncaster North, Reform LTD aren’t an option on the ballot. I suspect some of my near neighbours in and around Scawthorpe, Bentley, Toll Bar, Highfields, Woodlands etc will be disappointed on Thursday…

I’ll be voting Labour. Ed Miliband wasn’t a great party leader but he’s a very good constituency mp - or has been. I suspect he’ll be in the cabinet come Friday and a bit busier. We’ve had boundary changes and have inherited some of the old Don Valley constituency that returned a Tory in 2019; Ed should walk it but it’s no foregone conclusion.
