    As with everything Tarn, they're damned if they do and they're damned if they don't. Having been battered and berated for years over their youngsters only policy, they're now getting pelters for seemingly going after the experience people have been screaming for.

    I get your point but what do they cost if they've got the pedigree of a Connor or Roberts?
    If we're wanting to challenge for promotion next season then I'd personally be happy for us to sign quality experienced players to supplement our young potential.

    Clarke has said he wants to look at players. This week he’s made up his mind on Dallas and Shaw. I’m sure players will come in. People being very dramatic saying we need 10 players. We don’t but we definitely need to compliment the young lads we’ve got with some experience (doesn’t have to be age but someone who’s been through it all at this level).

    I hope we aren’t signing Roberts just because j want us to move away from playing 3-5-2 & if another centre back is joining then I think it’s fairly certain we’re sticking with the same system.

    I doubt he’s seen Shaw or Dallas considering they both left pretty much before pre season started
