    But the value they will add to those around them will be huge. See Sollbauer and Mads as the prime example

    Perhaps a positive for player retention that we'll have a few that have moved from here to elsewhere and come back, so can see the benefits of the club to those now here.

    Totally disagree. For years we have been crying out for experience alongside young players to help them develop. He has that, is a good quality player and an affinity to the club. What’s not to like?

    It'd be boring if we all thought the same.

    Personally, I don't mind us signing an experienced player, but it has to be someone who isn't at the detriment to the side. I really hope I'm proven wrong, but I'm not convinced Roberts is the answer.
