We are short at full back too. And we need a number of strikers unless Watters is going to come good.

 

I think that might be Styles if we don't recruit. I'm not that familiar with our youth teams and who might step up.

the more players you sign, the quality diminishes. I think for years the squad has been far too big, sacrificing quality.

I would add to this we have some good young players to fill the gaps where necessary, plus can use the odd loan

 

Cosgrove and Watters will be a different proposition being supplied properly by Hourihane and Connell.

We badly need a midfielder who can go past the opposition. We'll get nowhere without a runner or two.

 

Earl himself said he doesn't want to be there. He is a CB. Styles should not be near team. Has no desire to be here, does not want to play LWB anyway especially not in L1.

 

What about Shane Flynn,recently left Leicester City,can play anywhere on the left hand side.

I agree, it gives a different dynamic to those games that aren't going well. We've added quality with experience, now for a bit of pace and directness.
