I don't really disagree with anything you have said. The fact is the people coming on small boats is a minuscule part of the total migrants. That is really been the headline in the news, not most migrants coming here legally, because the comply with quite rigid immigration criteria. The real issue is we are not making it easy for people to train as nurses, doctors & social workers and retain them, which would reduce long term demand for people in these sectors. If we did, there would be a long term fall in migration in my opinion. It does not fill the pages of the Torygraph, the Daily Heil or the Daily Fail. It has also given Reform UK traction, which has shot Sunak & Co in the foot.
Half of the stuff you come out with is ***** followed by your a racist if you don't agree with the open border immigration policy. And there is a difference between a asylum seeker and economic migrant.
They're going to lose a lot of seats by a fine margin and, god forbid, a moderate swing back to the Tories in the next election could well return them to power by overturning those seats. Stop being ridiculous.
Blackpool many hotels on the front are rammed with immigrants. Haven't been to skeg but I imagine it's similar to Blackpool a run down seaside town where its ok for the hotel knowing its full every night with the tax payer footing the bill.
2 huge things is make nursing a well paid job, same with being a doctor. Before we do have to rely on importing into the NHS, fix the internal issues with it. Pay being one, also the procurement not being centralised these days is barmy when we should be bulk ordering to drive costs down. It's also top heavy with management on the non medical side. Finally, bring the equipment up to top standard state of the art stuff. It's gonna cost a fair bit, but I've said before, introduce a 5 year ring fenced tax on people earning over 50k just for the NHS. All the contenders are trying to con us on that we can do it without excuse the pun open heart surgery. I even phoned Trump for a headline quote and he suggested 'Make the NHS great again'.
And can you provide the names of these 3 largest hotels in Skegness? I'll check them out tomorrow morning while I'm trying to negotiate the hoards of British tourists
Charming! I just said to you it was uncalled for. I wont interact with you (or anyone else on here for that matter) again...
Agreed. The large majority of small boat arrivals succeed with asylum claims (c. 70-75% if I recall correctly). Next?

We let a bloke in who didn't speak English, raped someone while here, had his application rejected twice and then granted 3rd time. Then he went on to throw acid at a woman and her child so I have some doubts over the system.
The system put in place by the Tories. We ALL have doubts over that. It's barbaric, ineffective, costly and basically not fit for purpose.
