I made the schoolboy error of not getting any alcohol in. Although, if I had, I'd have probably ended up drinking all night and turning up to work pissed. And naked.

I want to celebrate but it's tempered massively by how many votes reform are getting. Although I'm starting to think they might not get these 13 seats everyone is talking about, but just get very close in lots of constituencies without actually winning many.

I’m sorry but no. Anybody that voted for him is a racist and there’s no discussion about that. It’s brought national shame to our town already and it will be even worse if he ends up winning.

I’ve thought they will win or come close here ever since Farage got stuff chucked at him on the bus. Most of the electorate see the guy who did it as a leftist which = Labour to them.

Pretty gutted tbh, if nothing else they’re divisive and will lead to negative media attention to our town with the wider Labour landslide win.

 

We'll all be tarnished, the big question needs answering an the question is WHY,

 

Both results expected soon, this is going to be a huge talking point in all the studios if 2 safe Labour seats go Reform.

 

To put it in perspective, Labour will walk it in my constituency (Rawmarsh and Conisbrough). The exit poll is saying 93% Labour hold. If they’re saying 98/99%, it’s nailed on.

I’ve always defended the town to friends and colleagues from elsewhere. Talk about egg on face eh?

My crumb of comfort is I got my family out of that area.
