Is there a better horror baddie than Michael Myers from Halloween? For me he is the GOAT.

Remember as a kid when we had family over, got kicked out of my room so relatives could have it and I slept downstairs on the sofa. Abt 10 yrs old and I put the TV on late at night and halloween was on. Wind was howling outside and rattling the letterbox, proper scary haha. Think one of the scariest parts is that the victim can sprint away and Myers will keep up with em just at walking pace and no matter which room or cupboard they hid in, he would be there within seconds ready to hone is butchering skills. Also ridiculously hard as nails.

Totally agree. Great character. It’s a shame the recent films made him to be immortal instead of just someone insane.

    Couldn’t agree with you more.
Some of the many sequels got a bit silly but he reigns supreme in my book
Years ago in the ringtone craze days, I had the Halloween tone which always frightened anyone nearby if my phone rang.

    Michael Myers rules ok

I agree with you on this one, even reading the book before the films had come out, it freaked me out, and I was 26!:D

I wouldn't wash my hands or flush the toilet. Even go upstairs without my mum standing at the bottom of the stairs after watching IT.

I was so terrified I wouldn't even go near a grate.

Joking aside. The other week I was lied in bed with my lamp on and the shadow given off by my clothes stand gave off his silhouette.

I had to get up and rearrange the coat hangers.

Not really horror, but a ‘baddie’ my childhood was. ‘Falconetti’ from a series called ‘Rich man, poor man’. Scared me to death when I was a kid.

Hid character was an absolute lunatic, & Andrew Robinson played it to perfection. Great film!

I thought Halloween and the Michael Myers character, were ace up until a certain point.
And even the theme music was menacingly good, John Carpenter is good at that as well as directing a film.
But then it just went downhill with too many sequels and/or re-boots.
