    Got to say both English refs have had a good tournament. I know if England make the final it won't be English refs but if we don't I hope one of them make it. Yes I know they make mistakes but they have done a first class job.

    They have. That's why they keep getting picked for more games. We might not agree with some decisions but they have to ref it how the rules tell them to, not how they personally would like to.

    I've seen complaints about the sending off earlier when he had to go for such a blatant foul when already on a yellow.

    Refreshing to see VAR being used properly instead of the awful implementation in the Premier League. Take the "handball" in the Spain - Germany game last night, in the PL that would have been reversed by VAR and a penalty awarded.
