    I'll be surprised if we pay half a million quid for someone who's 27 and has scored only 2 league 2 goals, rest was all in Ireland

    Sounds like we are signing that Walsall keeper too both extremely underwhelming signings imo but will be given every chance to prove me wrong

    The Walsall keeper is a tad underwhelming compared to a proven keeper at this level like Wildsmith but from what I've seen he looks a talent and is highly rated and plenty of room to develop.

    But this link to Coughlan is just bizarre. Terrible record at this level. And a pretty poor record overall in top flight of Irish football.

    All his goals came in 2nd tier over there which is nowhere near L1 level.

    And at 27 he's not a young prospect to develop.

    Coughlan. 33 in 29 games for Waterford. Would seem to indicate he knows where the net is but I'd add a huge caveat to that. Waterford were second tier in Ireland at the time. I've watched second tier games over here. It's pretty woeful and wouldn't match up to even Conference North level in England in my estimation.

    Similar comparison to Dallas who we signed with his record in none league. Hardly kicked a ball with us before being loaned out and now loaned for the full season. wasted money on a punt..don't do it, invest in someone from at least league 2 who can step up or championship/Premier league loan..
