So, he was at Burton for the 22/23 season, played regularly, they appeared to be in a state of jubilation when he was released. He then joined Slask Wroclaw who had just avoided relegation.
His achievements were 22 minutes in the league over 2 games and a game in the Polish Cup. Slask only missed out on winning the Polish PL that season on GD, so perhaps the level was a step too far for him. Seems to have been put in their second team in the Polish 4th tier, making 5 appearances. Then got loaned to Ross County in Jan only making 4 appearances and they sent him back.

No judgements from me.

All of the trialist we've had in the last few weeks are unlikely to get a contract according to Mladen.

Squad looks weaker every year. Losing Cole, kane Williams and cadden and replacing them with who we will see but the players linked with look alot weaker.

 

I agree it looks weaker so far but there’s still a while to go yet.

Regarding linked players, I would say that in recent years a lot of our signings have gone under the radar. Yes, Hourihane and Roberts were both heavily linked this summer but there’s been loads of signings that have totally come out of the blue. Even our head coach appointments have come out of the blue, despite all the “in the know” posts. It would appear that if there’s a rumour on Twitter or here, it can be ran with and become gospel truth.

Nixon has stated that his original Fleetwood/Barnsley story was incorrect and he has now corrected his story. However, this still remains behind his pay wall. I'm assuming he'd named the wrong player?

Six goals isn't prolific for a Midfielder.

 

Would be happy with this type of signing but obviously not at 500k

 

Makes much more sense as it's a younger lad we can develop.

Numbers not the best but he has played both out wide and up top for Fleetwood so that will lower his goal numbers a bit when he's stuck out wide.

Would still want another as well as him though personally. Id be a little concerned if this was the only striker/attacker we signed

 

He was excellent against us away at Fleetwood last season, may even have scored their goal.

 

Think that was scored by the midfielder they had on loan from Celtic mate? Brilliant long range strike.
