Holding was great. So is Bishop. If I had to make a dream commentary team he'd be near the top despite there being two dozen good ones around.

 

Bumble’s the best .. and Benauld of course was a close second

 

Two good ones from the past. Nowadays I think Sky have a weaker commentary team than other stations and events.

 

Something wrong here. We always get pumped in test matches at Lords. Doesn’t matter who we’re playing. Very odd that we seem to be well on top today. Brilliant bowling by our lads earlier and a solid reply. All ready for the big match tonight now.

 

Struggling against a poor team. After yesterday we should have been looking at 450+.

 

We're in total control. Their bowling attack is class. It's their batting that's poor. Only one of our pace bowlers that consistently threatened was our quick. They have 3 of them and a very handy looking spinner. I think they:the hoping to tire them a bit before launching an attack

 

It's not the usual Bazball pace. It might reach Saturday at this rate.

Not even bothering watching such a mismatch. Rather watch Wimbledon. It's a shame some rich fella doesn't fit Windies cricket. Invest so the better players play test matches and find the next generation.

Jimmy Anderson what can you say that hasn't already been said, over 700 test wickets these players don't come around often, when paired with Stuart Broad these two were a fearsome combination.
