@Merde Tete trying to make us all believe he doesn't know where Aqua are from silly man. Barbie Girl? Doctor Jones? Turn Back Time?
Well, well...well. I think some pundits stated it would be about the subs...and in our case it absolutely has. Credit where its due ...well done Gareth and the squad...excellent sub choice...hard to say anything else...really made up.
Oh yeah. But they can fck off as well, they didn't even qualify. As can the fascist guy from Ace of Bass and the surviving member of Roxette.
Not watching TV now, but can only assume that Dixon, Shearer, Ferdinand and the rest of the international failures are eating humble pie?
Must say, apart from going a goal down I was never too worried tonight. We bossed the first half and Holland had to make changes at half time, but even then they were very respectful of us and only looked decent on the counter. Strong performance tonight. Kane more involved from the start, and just more purposeful than the vast majority of our time in the tournament. Spain favourites on Sunday? Deffo, but they know they’re in for a game. Could be epic
Could well be; could be the quality of the players but when you look at how many knockout games we won before him and how many penalty shootouts, he can’t be that bad
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...-call-Gareth-Southgates-men-miracle-team.html The orange boys have gone red with anger. What sore losers.
How come Harry Kane’s chalked off the immigration chart? Is it because he’s from darn sarf? Edit: Rice anorl?
Kane's father is Irish. https://www.findmypast.co.uk/blog/discoveries/harry-kane-family-tree Rice's grandparents both Irish. https://www.bbntimes.com/society/th...rice-s-parents-meet-sean-rice-and-teresa-rice
We were looking to sign Watkins & you would be hard pushed to find a Liverpool (&Manchester, less so) born footballer, who doesn’t have Irish, Welsh or Scottish heritage somewhere in his bloodline..? Many still have family names..
I didn't want to mention it the other night, err just in case. That Holland had got through to the Final twice before, when the tournament was in Germany (World cup '74, and Euro '88!). Their players and fans were doing a lot of moaning about the ref. But surely if they are honest, they can see why the pen was looked at, and then given. On the balance of play though, over the whole 95 minutes, I don't think they can have any complaints.
Go on then just for you https://www.uefa.com/euro2024/match/2036210--netherlands-vs-england/lineups/ That's the line up that played against us. Clicking on all 11 starting names they were all born in the Netherlands. Dumfires dad is from Aruba.... https://www.fourfourtwo.com/feature...-his-name-from-and-is-there-any-scottish-link Van Dijk has a mum who is Surinamese/Chinese..... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virgi... van Dijk was born,is of part-Chinese descent. I thought Reinders looked good for the Dutch in their first few games. Certainly an attack minded midfield play maker we could do with at Oakwell, to replace Herbie Kane. However, I think he rather went missing against Turkey and England.
