I know most of us were as annoyed as hell, at the negative stuff in the group games. We were thinking then, that if we play like that against a good team like Spain etc!. But to be honest I'd say we've moved on from that now, and I certainly don't fear Spain. They are a really good team of course and are favourites, but this is a game that we should be looking forward to now at least. And not dreading it!.
If it is Shaw instead of Trippier I’m worried he won’t handle either Spanish winger , he was flagging when he came on the other night
Lovely England Reds feature on BFC Facebook… https://www.facebook.com/share/v/dvtRz71FnN2aSXz2/?mibextid=WC7FNe
I must admit it's great watching the build up where all the fans are mingling, and singing, and enjoying it. Hey I know it might sound naive, but why can't it be like this everytime ehh, at both club and Intl level.
Great that people are excited and happy but for gods sake.....the incessant hype and interviews with drunk England fans is a bit OTT.
Yeah that is something that has annoyed the hell out of me to be honest. Seeing the lesser known interviewers (from talkSport and other stations) just sticking a mic in their faces before and after the match, and just asking the usual nonsensical questions.
Yeah I've tried to play it down all weekend, and tried to not think about it too much lol, until this afternoon. But the excitement and the nerves, are now really building.
Me! Shaw in for Trippier. Numbers 1-7 and 9-11 on the pitch. In theory only Mainoo in the starting XI who wasn’t first choice when the squad numbers were issued.
Cracking. Just watched it on Twitter. It's well worth a watch! https://x.com/BarnsleyFC/status/1812449462520078605
Every one on TV, Radio, bookies, fans etc etc making the assumption that Spain will continue to play well. They might not, they could be below par and feeling the pressure of the biggest game they’ve played in the competition thus far. Here’s hoping
As everybody knows of course, you shouldn't mix a Gremlin with water. Gizmo was lovely, but hey, if you splashed him with water...
