43 years of supporting England yet we never win anything so not really sure why I should feel too bad abouting calling poor performance with all our so called world superstars etc.
I thought stones 1st half and pickford 2nd half were class. Had alot to do though tonight in some games this tournament not so much.
This is not your first idiotic comment and no doubt it won't be the last. If we'd won, even after draws and last minute get out of jail goals, our team would have been immortalised. One measly goal might have helped us beat 3 of the teams we couldn't beat. Yet Spain, who have been superior in every match they've played, and beaten the hosts and France, and mullared us in the second half, will soon be forgotten? I hope you find a way to the opticians.
Really? Wow. They’ve had much better results against much better teams than us and when it comes to performances they have been head and shoulders better. It felt tonight like an FA cup game between a championship team and a top end premier league side.
We played with 10 men for first 70 minutes until Kane went off, we were knackered last 5 mins doing his running. You can't play a euros final with 10 men and win. He should not have played, that cost us the game. Kane playing cost us the game. It was embarrassing and infuriating watching him.
Come on, look at the teams they beat vs the teams we beat And tonight, when it mattered, they were far, far better than us
England played well and didn't let anyone down, really enjoyed some excellent football and I think it might be Kane's goodbye . Stones had a excellent tournament and played like a man.
Micah Richards wouldn’t be out of place on this Board with some of the rubbish he’s talking about what ‘England could have done’. Deluded.
What’s the point of injury time if the ref allows the winning team to take the piss with every throw in, corner, free kick etc. the fact that it was only 4 minutes in the first place was a joke. When Morata went off he hugged three players , slowly put the captains armband on his pal and hugged the bloke coming on. And I know folk will say we would have done that in the same circumstances but that just adds to my point. Players wasting time doesn’t just disrespect the opponent but it robs the fans of an experience. There’s few sports that this happens in and it’s getting worse at every level.
I thought that against the Dutch we showed we could play a good side, but went back into our shells tonight until we went behind. I don’t like to blame the coach but we need a new approach.
Heartbroken. All the Southgate lovers, you've lost us this tournament. Same people that loved Collins and cost us promotion. Next manager will be potter. There's a reason he turned down the Ajax job etc...
