The report I've read suggests he fell down a hole near where his phone was found. Apparently took so long to find him because the opening was obscured by foliage.
I doubt he was pushed because they found his phone. Surely if you'd just bumped someone off you'd do a better job getting rid of any evidence.
Awful ending to this. I just hope he died instantly. The idea of him been laid injured, unable to move & slowly dying is horrendous.
It's horrendous what he was part of here. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...ete-attack-victim-tiktok-trolls-b2569680.html Fair play to the person who's skull was attacked for them to say such nice words.
RIP young man. Given the last phone call. It makes you wonder how long he stayed alive. Some say Karma. The victim of the attack has more forgiveness than most would concede to. Fair play.
Alternatively, deliberately leaving all his belongings there points to an accidental fall. Not that I’m suggesting that’s what’s happened, just that there’s some logic in it.
There’s similarities in this and the doctor last month. Both took a decision to walk alone along a treacherous path unprepared and lost their lives as a result. The doctor was unwell and clearly not up to such a journey and Jay could have caught a bus if he’d had waited two hours but instead opted for an 11 hour walk with no water, phone signal or knowledge of the area. If you’re on holiday, don’t wander off on your own in an area you don’t know well. Neither thought this would be the outcome.
I do find it strange the area and I know it was a large one, had search teams with dogs...that couldn't find anything originally. The dogs would have definitely been on it. Mmmmmmm
