Is it miles off it? I'd suggest only at left back?

Yes I'd say we need another striker for certain but still don't think that means we'd be miles off it?

Every position is weaker than last season in my opinion apart from possibly centre back

Yeah there is that feeling again of us maybe leaving it late, before we finally get our deals done.

Its miles off. Forward line, midfield, left and right side.

look at other squads. Lots of options and depth.

The transfer window dates are all messed up. Every year there is a mad rush on deadline day for all clubs for whatever reason, and that deadline day is several weeks into the season when it's way too late to make proper preparations for the season ahead. They should either bring forward deadline day or scrap windows entirely.

I agree it should be rearranged, but not scrapped in this day and age. Imagine the Leicester prem winning season, and with 5 games to go Vardy, Mahrez, Kante etc all get poached to stop them winning it

Same for every other club tho.. and other clubs have gone about their business..
But really this window can't be properly judged until the next window opens and we can see how good our half season as been by our crimbo league position.. you never know till it's done and you look back.

    1. i think it’s highly unlikely we will be anywhere close to relegation. But we have lost all our left wing back options. Lost our two main strikers. Lost one of our key midfielders. All indications are CH will be a bit part player so not a Kane replacement. Roberts has come in for Williams - think he brings stuff Williams didn’t but lack of pace at the back may be an issue. We’ve missed out on promotion the last two seasons and this seasons looks tougher than last so we need our squad to be better than last seasons and so far it looks weaker. Work to do

I guess all depends on how well our crop of youngsters step up.

Expecting to see lots more of Jalo, Yoganathan, Marsh.. Then we have Bland who seems a quality player, maybe even see a few cameos from Dyer.

Plenty of time to bring in I'd say 3 players and that will be us done. LB, CM, CF.

No reason behind it but reckon the striker we bring in will be a young loan from a premier league side.

Find myself saying the same thing each year it's the domino effect teams not keen to let player's go until they have replacements. It appears we are getting player's that involve fees so it's a complicated process that takes time. I agree we are getting to the time we would like to see some deals completed but still time this week to get some in because there are clear gaps in the squad.
