Unfortunately those in charge couldn't run a bath nevermind a football club. Really hoping for a successful season on the pitch because it seems everything else behind the scenes is either failing or at a very poor standard. We are absolutely miles away from alot of League one clubs and some League two clubs in terms of professionalism and public relations.
Massive over reaction surely? It's a Wednesday mid July about 3.5 weeks before the season starts. Box office closed as advertised. If the OP had checked before setting off then could have gone down either of the other 2 days this week to pick tickets up. Who else is realistically using box office this time of year given online sales of tickets and no competitive matches to buy for. It's a cost v benefit thing surely. My lad works at local pub - should be on until midnight tonight, been told he can leave at 10 as pub shutting as no customers. Happens all over the place really.
I went today not realising the box office was shut, I thought oh bugger went into shop had a look around and came home for me it wasn’t a big deal as I was in town anyway
Are the new hours permanent or just for the close season? It makes it very hard for anyone with a 9-5 job to actually go in in person if they need to Im surprised Saturday mornings have been canned, as we cant do print at home away tickets and the post is useless it makes life much more difficult for those wanting to go to away games
The information put out by the club didn't mention it being temporary, it said the new hours. Makes it so hard to do anything when the website isn't working and you get the phone put down on you when you call the box office
