Some very good bands about you need to stop looking for Mainstream stuff.

Rosadocs Very good, saw them at The Underground, week before last at Clifton Park and got tickets for Garristonbury in September and just today bought tickets for Octagon in November.

One I would recommend is Edenthorn. (Rock band)
Exist is a great album to check out. 'Hearts still beating' My favourite track. Give it a listen.

I dont get this. No good bands around today. There are fantastic musicians that do the pub/club cct as well as the charts. And I've seen lots of headline acts. Music is a matter of taste. I don't like the 50s early 60s rock and roll. Opera, Traditional Jazz.( But like big band stuff eg Glen Miller) Most rap. (Probably cos I dont hear the lyrics clearly) but a mixture eg Black eyed peas I dont mind. Why do people say if they don't like an artist or Genre its crap. Not to millions of fans it isn't.
I grew up in the 60s/70s and there was a wealth of talent around. My first real love when I got my first record player was Glam rock. (Wizard. T.Rex. Slade. Sweet) but also thrown in. The Carpenters. And Punk.
My Mrs when I met her was a massive Bowie fan. As we got older our tastes broadened but are matched. Heavy rock being one of em. But listen to loads of other genres. We still go to concerts. And share a love of going to musicals.
I followed in the 60's. The Hollies. Beach boys. Gerry and the pacemakers. But not anyone religiously so to speak.
Unusual for most, not The Beatles.

Aw. I would never have thought that? But am guitar pals with Richard, so don’t mind. You wouldn’t believe the pedigree band on that cheap track? But at least, someone gave up 3 minutes of their life to listen.. .. thanks. :)

All depends on your taste, I’m mainly rock/alternative with some metal/metal core thrown in.

    Give Sleep Token a listen

Still can't get over how much they've blown up

First saw them to a fairly modest crowd at ArcTanGent festival back in 2019 and now they're selling out arenas. Nuts

Beth Gibbons of Portishead and Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth have both put out some good stuff this year.

What a shame. Here's one of their classics then as a mark of respect.
