Not a political thread. A welfare thread. Here's a man clearly ill. I think he has dementia. It's about time the powers that be and backers etc replaced him.

It's sad. I like the guy. His demise being played out like a soap opera.

He's been adamant he isn't leaving, even going after the 'elites' who have stopped supporting/donating to him.

Be interesting. I think it's Trump's if he doesn't do the right thing to step down.

Yeah it’s not pleasant viewing watching him struggle but now that Obama is voicing his concerns i would think things will change.

America are going to have trump as president again even though it was a total screw up the first time. Clearly a country that share brain cells.

It's a country where failing to be murdered forgives all previous sins and makes you a hero, just about anyone can buy an AR15, and half the population view the bible as more factual than a science textbook. It's amazing they've avoided self destruction for as long as they have.

Most countries still view their holy book/person over a moral compass or science, from the US, to the middle east, to Asia & Africa. I don't think it's strictly an American thing.

I don't like religion. An ex poster has seen my posts recently and is concerned for my wellbeing. Lovely guy. I can't shake the fact he's religious though. I want to open up and vent my spleen but I've still got the savvy to know I'm not religious and no matter my short comings or crises I won't be looking to a higher power.

Why does him being religous put you off speaking to him, mate? If you're afraid that he will tell you turn to God, it doesn't matter - as long it's from a place of good heartedness. You don't need to turn to a higher power, even if it's what his advice is. the simple fact is that you're able to vent and open up, and you know the person you're talking to has the best intentions for you so in that respect alone I think it'll do you good mate. I'm not religious either but there's a lot of good in the bible, Quran and alot of religious texts - you don't need to have faith to take aspects from them all (if that makes sense)?

I think it's worth you talking to him mate

Yep sounds like Obama, having always backed him, has now basically advised him to stop running. God knows who can take over at this stage and stand a chance against Trump though.

They'll probably chuck that creep among creeps Gavin Newsome (spelling) in. He's young, charismatic, erudite, and most of all, has a soul as black as night. Perfect for high office in 2024.

He should have never been allowed to stand. If that is genuinely the strongest candidate the Democrats can field, they’re in big trouble.
