    Not really no. Players leave clubs all the time. There’s a huge turnover every summer. I think Cole was poor in the second half of the season but given he’s not signed for anyone we can’t blame that on his head being turned.

    Being serious you can’t really count the loanees so we lost 4 players (so far) it’s a fairly normal number out of a squad. Just unfortunate they were 4 of our better players.
    Oh and a manager but we lose one of those every year. A lot of clubs will be in a similar position to be fair. Also they wouldn’t sign new contracts so alternative was sell cheap last January that wouldn’t have gone down well

    Fair point. In my time, almost every season end has seen all the best players leave, not just recent seasons under the current regime. It was ever thus.
