I can only echo what many have already said.

You've been a true gent on here, at the club and lived a dream and seen probably more of the club behind the scenes most of us can only dream of.

I'm sure you will be great loss to the club but you have to follow your own mind. And if that's not at the club we can only respect that decision.

Best of luck with whatever you do next

@YTBFC Wishing you well Andy. Bumped into you a few times since a crazy night in Guiseley. Expensive taxi ride home, but you introduced me to Conor & Hecky & a few others. I was a bit over excited that night, but it was a fond memory. I can be irresponsible at times.

Sometimes making your passion your job is good, but it's hard to turn off from. I've operated in music for 30 years now & I need to always make sure I have some boundaries & some projects that are about the love of music, not just the cash. The cash is important though, as it keeps a roof over your head. I'm sure you'll find the next project & can just enjoy, (or not at times), being a BFC fan. All the best mate, you are one of our own.

All the best Andy, good luck with whatever is next. There have been multiple examples over the years of improvements to the club's media, and I'm sure much of that was down to you.

It is a bit weird going back on the 'terraces' at first. As some of you may know, I worked on Oakwell 1575/Barnsley Player for around 4 years I think it was, leaving (being booted out unfairly) in summer 2008. I missed it for a while but soon got used to being back in the stands. Obviously didn't get to see anywhere near the stuff that you'll have done over the years at the club, and it was a completely different era, but it was a fascinating bit of insight into the inner workings of a football club. I loved even that experience and it was only a hobby and not my job (think interviewing Redders on air one game was a major highlight, plus commentating at Wembley), so I can only imagine the pride you've felt. Anyway, didn't mean to make the post about me, please excuse my indulgence. It just made the memories flood back.

Be nice to have a beer sometime!

    Cheers Andy.
