Trump will play on this right up to the election. And it'll likely work in all honesty. He'll suggest that the best the Democrats could offer up was a geriatric mumbler who they've had absolutely no choice but to remove (probably against his wishes - he seemed happy to run last week) and the new guy or gal will be painted as someone the Democrats didn't think to be more competent than the guy they've just removed...until it was too late. Of course that's bellicose rhetoric, and the Democrats will aggressively refute it. But it'll stick. Trump will win, if he isn't killed first.
Rubbish, but of lately maybe not. He won the last election fair & square & put America back on track. His polices were bang on & if we want to talk about cognitive, would you rather be electrocuted or be eaten by a shark? Or maybe invite Hannibal Lecter round for dinner? Maybe you could organise a UFC tournament between Immigrants & the UFC elite? When was the last time you heard Trump talk about polices?
So the rumour was right. The only person popular enough in polls to beat Trump is Michelle Obama and her husband is going to have a job on persuading her. Kamala just wouldn't have the fight for it. Not been the same since losing the casket match to The Undertaker at Survivor Series 1992.
If that's the case it might be sensible for them all to get behind her, including other prospective nominees
True, during the primaries in 2020 Kamala Harris said Biden was a racist. With all the eyes and pressure on the democratic party now, I dont think something like that can be afforded.
Tbf, racism, misogyny, sexual assault, sedition and corporate fraud don’t seem to be considered barriers.
My point being if she's called him that, she doesn't mean it, Biden replies saying he isn't and x,y and z, it just takes away from more important issues mate. Stick to what your game plan is and rubbish the other sides ideas instead of 'playing the game'
Anyone in the Democrat party with serious ambition to be president has already written off 2024 - they're looking at 2028. This just shows the absolute moral hole these people live in - on the one hand they say Trump is an existential threat to democracy and in the next breath calculate they're going to wait for 2028 for their best chance to get power.
I think it's worth pointing out that while we may see lots of extreme Trump supporters at rallies, a large proportion of Republic voters were not voting for Trump. But Republican policy. In real numbers we are seeing a large shift of voters towards the right in many countries, including ours.
It doesn't matter technically who Biden has endorsed, the big financial backers are the ones who wield the most influence....however it probably will be Harris.
