    Another great stat is it's the first time ever we've got 400+ runs in both innings of a test.

    Hope Pennington doesn't get a chance in the third test because Northern Superchargers need him Friday for the season opener :)

    Pennington was relieved of his 12th man duties on Sunday to play for Notts in a 50 overs warm up game. Suggests that England wanted him to get some time on pitch in readiness for the Test.

    It would be madness for them not to pick him in the third test though. Ideal chance for him to integrate into the team.
