Smith MDG Pines Earl O’Keefe Connell Craig (Longelo) Phillips Cosgrove Jalo Don’t think Craig has come to sit on the bench. Conor won’t start many I don’t think. O’Keefe improved a lot towards the end of last season. Would like to see Jalo get a run of games but still need another striker.
Smith Pines Roberts Earl Lofthouse Phillips Craig Connell (Longelo) Watters Cosgrove Lofthouse has really impressed me and looked a good option for RWB. I think Craig will be the deep midfielder with Phillips and Connell in front. I’ve included Watters in the hope he comes good this season. But I’m sure we’ll sign a better striker who’ll probably take his spot before the window closes.
Spurs haven't loaned us Craig for him not to play. If game time wasn't important he'd have been sent to Millwall or Wednesday, so he will be a starter. We lack strength in depth looking at the bench and some of them being their may stunt the growth of some like Yoganthan and Bland who I would like us to give chances to.

Lofthouse for Cotter and Humphreys if we are in for him or Dunn on the same basis. Still hope Longelo joins. If we do get Humphreys/Dunn/Longelo I think it's a decent team at this level.
I can't pick Lofthouse in my best team having never seen him play, let alone play a game in L1. I don't mind Cotter (I know many don't like him) but in the few games I saw last season he was always decent, granted that was not many games. Clearly needs work but jut love his passion and unpredictability. If we get DKD and Humphrys plus what we already have and keep what we have, thats a strong L1 side. Plus a LWB with some pace.

Not sure we can afford one, certainly not a proven one. We'll need to find someone like Morris who's goal scoring record might not be the best but has the requisite attributes to change that.
Really worried if we have to start the season with our current strikers , we need at least 1 or 2 new signings upfront or at least another attacking midfielder or wide player preferably with pace.
We need to get rid of quite a few and use the wages to get a quality striker to play off Cosgrove I think. we have so many players on the books that contribute so little to the first team. Would much prefer a lean squad with more quality. Appreciate there is a cost in doing this but better to cut losses rather than being held back
Think someone quoted we've shed about 14 but this includes loanees going back.Although we appear to have a reasonable size 1st team some if these are players from the development squad. also no fee for Conner or Roberts and 4 first team contracts expiring could mean we're in a better position financially.
I think we can find one. Just not one that's already a 15-20 goals a season guy. I think for example Humphrys could be that guy, we need to turn someone into a 20 goal a season striker because they're just too expensive to buy as the finished article
