Not sure why his last team got relegated and even considering when he took over they did still get relegated. Successful managers wouldn’t have got relegated. I think it happened to him twice.
So only base it on his last job where they didn't win, or even score, in their first 11 games before he joined? Nothing about his various promotions or how brilliant he's done in other jobs? I honestly can't remember a comment from you about anything what wasn't largely negative! I actually think Clarke is the bright point despite the window so far.
The tactical genius Ian Evatt who has now failed in 2 League One play off campaigns despite having a healthy budget in comparison to other clubs is ranked 4th. I wouldn't read too much into these rankings to be honest.
Doesnt mean I’m wrong. He’s got more relegations than promotions in his recent managerial career. Sorry if the the truth offends you. He got sacked in April last year following a seven game winless run, then his next job his team got relegated yet we are now somehow pinning our hopes on us getting us promoted. Just think we putting unrealistic odds on someone that is more than likely going to fail to achieve and once again that’s not his fault.
Ok. So what about the fact he got sacked less than a year ago at port vale? Sorry that I’ve actually looked at his career as a manager.
Yeah perhaps if they had kept him they'd have stopped up. I seem to remember us having a shocking run of games under Johnson before turning it around. He's got a great record imo. He would have kept Cheltenham up too if they had picked up even just 2 points during their first 10 goalless games. It just seems like every post from you is negative (other than mentioning your son obviously) but when something positive comes along, no reaction, it just feels such a chore for you supporting Barnsley mate
The truth doesn't offend me, Clarke has been a mixed bag at his previous clubs but he gets my full support much like Neil Collins did right to the very end of his tenure. I just find your constant negativity bizarre. I hope to god you aren't this negative off this forum. The club could appoint Pep or Klopp as head coach but you would still find something negative about it.
