The guy in blue appears out of control to me…..swinging like a mad man and striking a female officer at close range breaking her nose…..there’s a lot of countries around the world that would’ve shot him …….

Always best to have all the evidence before coming to judgment.

I did think to myself, although I'm generally against racial profiling, if I'm a dark skinned male at an INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT and I'm approached by ARMED POLICE.. how should I behave?

I don't in any way think it justified the kick to the head when prone and unprotected. They are lucky they weren't shot under the terrorism act.

Why did it all start at all interests me. I’ve been through loads of airports yet never seen anything like that happen. Something caused it.

Do you think that will work as evidence in his defence? The guy is still prone, face down on the floor, and been tasered, at the point of the kick and stamp.

He probably deserved it by the rules of the street, but shouldn't we expect more discipline from our police force?

The video that’s been released seems to be a leaked video…….racial tensions in the is country are high, I’d not be surprised if there’s some serious disorder on our streets over the coming months……it’ll be interesting to see if the guy in blue gets prosecuted

I heard on the radio that the police stated they'd received reports of a man causing disruption by a ticket machine and the nearest police officers approached to speak with him.

No I don’t think it will be the guy in blue attacks 4 different police officers before being suppressed.

Police are trained like the army to an extent…….if they feel there’s a severe threat to life and the public then at all costs they need to preserve that, what we don’t see and know was how the surroundings were panning out, he’s just seen a female colleague assaulted from close range, his emotions will have been all over the show

They will have been, that's what A police officers should be about though, It's all about controlling the situation, not escalating it. Which he clearly has done.

The actions of the “victims” on the new footage is terrible but regardless of what happened before im not sure he needed to kick or stamp on an already incapacitated person.

All those things are true but he lost control and you can’t allow that particularly if you are an armed officer , retraining and a move to another unarmed position with a warning probably appropriate

Sorry but I don’t see how he’s lost control. He’s dealing with the situation with a controlled level of violence. The person had attacked 4 police officers before being subdued.

And there also human too……..that guy went to work probably not expecting to be attacked and see his colleagues attacked either!

I suspect airport officers are on extra alert due to potential severities of peoples actions

Even going back to so called 'fights' in the school playground, and like they also do in the Ufc for example.
Its always shocking to see somebody viciously attack somebody else's head like that, with kicks and/or punches when they are down.
Its intended to cause maximum damage, as quickly as possible.
The question will remain, should any police officer do something like that ?.

One thing for sure, it's a bit sickening seeing them sat on that settee as if butter wouldn't melt, with their lawyer talking about justice. The guy needs a 5 year stretch for attacking 4 police officers like that. Like already said, in many other countries, he'd be dead.

Well I'll say that I can understand why he (the copper) did it, especially after seeing this further video footage.
But its still shocking to see, isn't it ?.
