    I think if it was as simple as would you want him it would be a yes. We all know we are not Birmingham with owners with more money than sense so how much of the budget would he take a fair chunk you would think. So for me it's a no the time to get him was last season the cost of a decent season with us unfortunately puts him out of our budget we need one that the cats not out of the bag.

    You could be right but Kane seems to be at the centre of all the banter in the dressing room & nights out yet many still speculate it’s him

    Yet when we were relegated from the Championship many were saying we needed ‘tougher players’ in league one to combat how rough it was.

    That's all it is - speculation. I'm pretty sure Herbie talks to his teammates in a slightly more enthusiastic way than he did to that journalist. You'd hope so anyway! There was also a lot of speculation that Cole was a "bad apple" because of his demeanor, but it was later confirmed on here by Whitey that nothing could be further from the truth - he's just naturally quite a shy and reserved guy. Not everyone's going to be as outgoing as Norwood at the end of the day.
